Great Wolf Lodge!!

We all had so much FUN!

The Sandidge Family came also, it was fun to have friends for Matt and me as well as for the boys. There were so many things to pull, push, ride and climb. Everything would squirt, spray or dump water, it was so funny to watch the boys splash and get splashed!

Water...water...everywhere!!

There was a huge bucket that would dump 1,000 gallons of water every five minutes. A 30 second warning bell would let us know when the bucket was full, and as soon as Logan heard it he would go running to the spot where it would dump, he loved it!! Matt being such a great dad would lean over him to protect him from the full effects of the extreme water pressure.

Logan loved this slide even though it was way steeper than the yellow one he refused to go down!

Maddox had fun being big like his brother going down the blue slide, even though he was brave enough to go down the Yellow one.

There is Matt trying to convince Logan to go down, even David was showing him how easy it was!

The Sandidge family is so much fun! After a LONG day swimming we moms and kids headed to the mall while the dads went out too. Grapevine is a really nice place, but we had to get back in time for story time at the Lodge!!
(-->I wrote this before the pictures were downloaded-->) We went to Great Wof Lodge and it was so much fun! The boys had a blast at the indoor water park, there was so much fun stuff for them to play with, in the kiddy pool. It was our first little family weekend getaway where we didn't stay with relatives. The boys loved the room, it was cute, we had our area and they had a section that was a wolf den and it had bunk beds, I was a little worried that wouldn't go over with Maddox (still being in a crib) but it was fine and Logan had fun sleeping on the top bunk, even though the ladder was to steep for him to get back down. (he thought) I had alot of fun and am happy to be part of my family, they are really great!

Winter Fest!!

Winter Fest is a super cute and fun play day that Logan's school puts on for the kids. It was so much fun, there were diffrent stations they went to and tons of cute games. By far Logan's favorite was the snow ball fight! He had a blast hitting me with the "snow balls" they were rolled up pairs of socks, so it didn't hurt! That big white circle in the first pic. is a snowball coming at me!

They had ice blocks to build igloos, Logan enjoyed knocking his down better. such a boy! :)

There were snowmen to throw your snow balls into, and snow men to dress, and another fav. was the snow cones, what a treat, we havent had one since the summer.

At one station you got to fish, Logan was all about it (he has the experience, as you saw in a previous blog.) He fished, caught it, cooked it, and ate it. ("well just pretend mom, it's not real" he told me)

We roasted marshmellows and CHILLED out in the igloo!

Logan learned to hop-scotch, he loved popping the extra large bubble wrap, and ice skated around the rink once wearing his shoe box skates. He really had so much fun!
And because I am such a lucky aunt I also got to go and be with Dylan durring his classes turn!
Dylan built a masterpiece!! We have really enjoyed the fun out of the sun at the Winter Fest!

My First Garden!!

I am so excited, I have wanted to start a garden for a long time but never knew how easy it was. It is just the beginning and I know there is alot of time, work and care involved so... thanks to Amy for all her expert help, I have the ball rolling. And as soon as they have enough growth, then into the ground they will go!! I have 1 row lettuce, 3 rows of broccoli, 1 row of spinach, 3 rows of carrots and a flat of peas. I am going to also get some strawberrys, and other berries. I will blog again about my garden once it has made progress! ~To Be Continued~~

Pa-Sketti & Meatballs

Maddox Loves Noodles!! He has really gotten very independent at the table, he can barely climb into his chair but as soon as he gets there he folds his arms ready for a prayer, and is then ready to feed himself. He is getting so big! By the end we are usually a little messy but it's a little less mess every time.
Hulk-Logan on the other hand loves Fruit and Meat. Whether it's breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, aligator (aka-steak) or this lovely meal, Logan wil let us know "thats ok I just want the meat, just the meat please!" Luckly he is a great fruit eater, at times he will have a apple in one hand and a banana in the other. When it comes to veggies broccolli, and spinage are his favorites. Crazy, I know!! Most likly 'cause we like to call them trees and say "Oh my gosh! your muscles are getting soo big, woah!"
