Winter Fest!!

Winter Fest is a super cute and fun play day that Logan's school puts on for the kids. It was so much fun, there were diffrent stations they went to and tons of cute games. By far Logan's favorite was the snow ball fight! He had a blast hitting me with the "snow balls" they were rolled up pairs of socks, so it didn't hurt! That big white circle in the first pic. is a snowball coming at me!

They had ice blocks to build igloos, Logan enjoyed knocking his down better. such a boy! :)

There were snowmen to throw your snow balls into, and snow men to dress, and another fav. was the snow cones, what a treat, we havent had one since the summer.

At one station you got to fish, Logan was all about it (he has the experience, as you saw in a previous blog.) He fished, caught it, cooked it, and ate it. ("well just pretend mom, it's not real" he told me)

We roasted marshmellows and CHILLED out in the igloo!

Logan learned to hop-scotch, he loved popping the extra large bubble wrap, and ice skated around the rink once wearing his shoe box skates. He really had so much fun!
And because I am such a lucky aunt I also got to go and be with Dylan durring his classes turn!
Dylan built a masterpiece!! We have really enjoyed the fun out of the sun at the Winter Fest!

My First Garden!!

I am so excited, I have wanted to start a garden for a long time but never knew how easy it was. It is just the beginning and I know there is alot of time, work and care involved so... thanks to Amy for all her expert help, I have the ball rolling. And as soon as they have enough growth, then into the ground they will go!! I have 1 row lettuce, 3 rows of broccoli, 1 row of spinach, 3 rows of carrots and a flat of peas. I am going to also get some strawberrys, and other berries. I will blog again about my garden once it has made progress! ~To Be Continued~~

Pa-Sketti & Meatballs

Maddox Loves Noodles!! He has really gotten very independent at the table, he can barely climb into his chair but as soon as he gets there he folds his arms ready for a prayer, and is then ready to feed himself. He is getting so big! By the end we are usually a little messy but it's a little less mess every time.
Hulk-Logan on the other hand loves Fruit and Meat. Whether it's breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, aligator (aka-steak) or this lovely meal, Logan wil let us know "thats ok I just want the meat, just the meat please!" Luckly he is a great fruit eater, at times he will have a apple in one hand and a banana in the other. When it comes to veggies broccolli, and spinage are his favorites. Crazy, I know!! Most likly 'cause we like to call them trees and say "Oh my gosh! your muscles are getting soo big, woah!"

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas To Everyone!! This is the picture that was on our card this year for any one who didn't get one. I got about 8-10 back return to sender :(

We had fun decorating our houses, Logan mostly had fun eating while we did it. We made a house together, then my mom and I made afew for her to take to friends at work, I also got to make one at the Sandidge Christmas Party! It was fun to have them, I am suprised they lasted Logan often asked to eat them!

It was early, Matt and I were still sleepy but as you can see Logan is wide awake an eager for that present!!

Matt woke up a little bit more once he started getting presents. We got him a HAM radio so we can can have communication when all else fails.

Maddox was all about the cars this year!! Instead of opening the presents he is using them to drive on. (i wonder if I still have the reciepts?)
Maddox was not so intrested in his stocking, I had to show him that there were toys in that big sock and they were all for him! But he mostly wanted to ride his little car, I don't know why I even bought more than 1 thing, they had there favorite and it would have been enough, I doubt I will be that lucky in future years.
Logan was very excited to open his stocking, but not till after he got his much anitcipated STAR WARS figures he just knew he was getting!
Being from a family of all daughters, I was not much help putting the caps in to the toy gun Logan got! ( but I can change a Barbie in no time flat!!)
The Morning was great, it's time for paper clean up then naps so we will be ready for all the family to come over for the family gift exchange.
